Obituary

Dr. Ronald Massarik, aged 89, of Deerfield, IL, a devoted husband of Marline, father of David(Bonnie) and Sara, and cherished grandfather of Shoshana, Juliana, Michelle, Madeleine, and Rebecca. He was a revered and respected physician in private practice after his 10-year career in the Medical Corps as an Army physician with the final rank of Major. My memories of Ron go back many decades. In fact, before his marriage to Marline when I sat in her Mom’s kitchen as she baked cookies to send to a soldier (Ron) she just met at her aunt’s house in Texas. Thru the years, my husband Sy and I spent many a wonderful evening with Ron and Marline, and I will always remember those precious times.
